The “GRH Memorial Plate” 13th July 2025
The Old Dovorian Cricket Club, Folkestone Cricket Club, together with the family of Rupert Hill, will be putting on a Cricket Match in memory of Rupert who passed away 15th December 2024, to celebrate his life, as well as his love for the game of cricket.
This will be an annual match against Folkestone CC, with both teams playing for the “GRH Memorial Plate”, which the winners of the match, will hold the memorial Plate until the next Memorial Match.
The first match will be played on Sunday 13th July at Folkestone Cricket Club.
It is a family day at the cricket where both his family and friends can enjoy an occasion in his memory, either watching or playing cricket, which was a sport that was truly close to his heart.
